For parents who want more than just photos

The best time for a newborn photography session is between 7–14 days old, when babies are in their sleepiest stage and all poses are safe and comfortable for them. We reserve a tentative session window based on your due date. The newborn timing is flexible, this date acts as a placeholder: as soon as your little one arrives or if your doctor updates your due date in advance — please notify me as quickly as possible so we can adjust your scheduled day accordingly

All newborn photo sessions take place between 10:30–11:00 AM in my private newborn photography studio in San Diego, thoughtfully designed for moms and their babies. The studio offers a calm, warm, and fully prepared experience for new parents, allowing you to simply slow down, relax, and enjoy these precious first moments.

A $300 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date and will be applied toward your collection total.

Multiple payment methods are available, including credit cards and flexible financing options.

Within one week, you will receive a curated online gallery with proofs to select your favourite images for final retauching.

Final images are digital and professionally retouched and delivered approximately two weeks.

Additional retauched images are available for purchase - $40 each.

A full gallery upgrade is also available for those who fall in love with every image. Pricing varies based on number of images

RAW files are not available.

For twins, there is an additional $300 fee due to the extra time and work involved. You will also receive 5 extra fully retauch images

During baby’s first two weeks, their tiny hands, curled legs, delicate features, and sleepy expressions still feel so close to the way they were just days before in mom’s belly.

That fleeting stage is what makes newborn photography so meaningful — preserving the very beginning, soft and unchanged.

FAQ

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR A NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?

The ideal time for newborn photography is within the first 10–14 days after birth, while babies are still very sleepy, naturally curled, and comfortable in those soft newborn poses.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

Most families reserve their newborn session 1.5–2 months in advance to make sure availability is secured around their due date. Since babies can arrive earlier or later than expected, we always tentatively reserve time first and then adjust the session date closer to baby’s arrival if needed. I keep extra flexibility in my schedule for these changes, however availability each month is limited.

HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION LAST?

Newborn sessions usually last from around 1.5 hours for a mini session and 3+ hours for a full session. The Gold package includes family and sibling portraits, which naturally requires more time, especially when older children are involved.

That said, I never rush newborn sessions. We follow baby’s pace and take as many feeding, soothing, or cuddle breaks as needed, so the entire experience feels calm, relaxed, and comfortable for both parents and baby.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY BABY's FIRST PHOTOSHOOT?

Before your maternity photography session, we’ll plan all outfits and styling details together during your fitting appointment or online consultation, so you’ll know exactly what to prepare.

Usually, I recommend bringing nude or black personal underwear depending on the selected looks, and occasionally one or two pairs of shoes if needed for styling.

All dresses, fabrics, accessories, and styling pieces for your maternity photoshoot are provided in the studio, making the experience simple, stress-free, and fully guided.

WHERE IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO LOCATED?

My private studio is conveniently located on Miramar Road between I-15 and I-805, making it easily accessible from all areas of San Diego County.

The studio offers comfortable parking directly near the entrance and is located on the first floor with a private direct entrance, creating a stress-free experience for pregnant moms and families visiting with newborns or young children.

The studio is fully equipped for maternity, newborn, baby milestone, and family photography sessions, offering a calm, private atmosphere. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make moms feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their photography experience.
